Edwina Beer - Principal Psychologist

Edwina’s experience includes working with adults, children and adolescents in both public and private settings. She is passionate about her work and facilitating the growth and development of her clients to allow them to build on their strengths. Edwina works with her clients to be present and engaged in their lives in positive and fulfilling ways.
Edwina’s approach is underpinned by working respectfully with people to develop an understanding of their experiences, with the aim of promoting learning to manage challenges in more effective ways. She uses a range of evidence-based techniques to promote real outcomes for positive and wholistic change and resilience. Her work draws on strategies and evidence-based interventions including, but not limited to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Edwina has specialised training in the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders and working with individuals with this diagnosis across the lifespan.
